Now celebrating 50 solid years since the first airing of their TV show in America, The Monkees are back for another tour of the country, complete with a brand-new album set to be released in July, Good Times. This tour lineup will comprise the remaining members; Micky Dolenz and Peter Tork (Michael Nesmith will be sitting this one out, guys). Good Times will also feature new material written with guest artists such as Noel Gallagher, Rivers Cuomo and Ben Gibbard, with producing duties taken on by Adam Schlesinger of Fountains of Wayne fame. A new sound in the works perhaps?!

In recent years, her songwriting has taken a more mature course and she's set herself to tackle current social and political issues, from Hurricane Katrina to September 11.
